Product Overview

Workito is designed to assist private employers in managing domestic employment, whether it's a house cleaner, caregiver, or any other home-based service provider. The system automates salary calculations according to Israeli labor laws, generates payslips, handles pension contributions, and facilitates payments to social security (Bituach Leumi). Its user-friendly flow guides employers step by step, ensuring compliance while saving time and avoiding costly legal mistakes.

Design and Challenges

We were tasked with designing a product for users who are not necessarily tech-savvy or familiar with labor law. The main challenge was to present complex legal and financial processes in a friendly, clear, and trustworthy interface. We focused on guiding users through short, conversational flows, with contextual explanations and smart defaults. The product had to feel simple and reassuring, while operating under the hood with a high level of sophistication and legal accuracy. The result is a clean and intuitive experience that turns a bureaucratic chore into a quick, empowering task, and significantly increases users’ confidence and compliance.
